Various concepts of my Alternate Universe Variants of characters from Naoko Takeuchi's "Sailor Moon" series. Thank you, Team Four Star, for putting me back on a SM kick. As I'm writing Usagi's Act 4, I'm starting to finalize the other Sailor Senshi. These girls needed tweaking to fit their locations, without damaging the original intent. - My version of Luna looks a lot more realistic; imagining her crescent-moon mark as a gold charm embedded in her forehead. - While I'm at it, trying to update how I draw Usagi; prior, her bangs were previously flat, but I'm trying to add VOLUME. They look so much better now! - Would anyone be mad if I made Sailor Uranus transgender? One hand, I feel I have no right telling a trans person's story; other hand, if I can pull it off, her moment could be life-changing! Anyway, she and Neptune (Anari) are dancing in reference to "Revolutionary Girl Utena"; I already shared this art on Valentines. - Mercury, or "Amilia": I debated whether to make her top-heavy or bottom-heavy. I wound up going top-heavy, but might've gone too far. A gag has her knock out an incoming baddie with 'em. - Jupiter, or "Mikaela": in my mind, she was always black. I visualized her hair as a mix of styles, like cornrows, braids, a fade, and her natural curls for bangs. - Venus, or "Mina": wanted to make her more distinct from Usagi, and one way was making her curvier (not quite "fat", but "thick") I also dabbled with her hair, including giving her "drills", but... I think I'll save that. - A small view of how I detailed Usagi's and other SM characters' eyes, based on designs from more recent "Sailor Moon" media.

Neat lil detail: certain characters' eyes have unique levels of detail, signifying their particular aura, or origins, or relation to others. Related characters usually share certain traits or colors, like real families.
