North Texans want results. That’s exactly what I’ve done in Congress.
From fighting voter suppression at home to preparing our workforce for AI, expanding health care access, & lowering costs, I’m focused on what matters.
I’m running for #TX33 to keep delivering results for you.
Honored to earn the endorsement of @weareliuna.bsky.social!
I’m proud to stand with the hardworking men and women of labor who keep our North Texas communities running. Together, we’re fighting for good-paying jobs, safe workplaces, and an economy that works for everyone.
Let’s get to work. #TX33
Prices are rising, and Trump and Republicans have done nothing to lower costs.
Instead, they’ve launched a war driving prices even higher—especially gas. We should making life more affordable, not wasting resources.
I’m focused on lowering costs for North Texas families. #TX33
Honored to have the endorsement of @ppact.org!
I’m proud to stand with those fighting to protect access to abortion care and defend the right for everyone to make their own decisions about their reproductive health care.
In Congress, I will never back down from this fight. #TX33
Honored to be named an Equal Rights Amendment Award Champion by the @eracoalition.bsky.social.
During #WomenHistoryMonth, I’m reminded that the fight for equality is far from over.
In Washington, I'll keep pushing for the rights and futures of every woman in #TX33.
Johnson currently represents #TX32, which got heavily altered in the redistricting bill. So she decided to run in the redrawn #TX33. Allred was running for the Senate in Texas but jumped into the #TX33 race after Jasmine Crockett announced her candidacy. And now they're both in the May 26 runoff.
Hello, y'all. We're having some technical hiccups at Signal today so stories we have in the pipeline (about the border wall and the Ten Commandments bill) are a bit delayed. But, for now let's talk about a runoff race I'm very focused on: the redrawn #TX33 between Julie Johnson and Colin Allred.
This weekend, I made the case for why I’m the strongest candidate to represent #TX33 in Congress at the @dallasdemocrats.bsky.social Convention—and the energy in the room said it all.
If you’re looking for a home in this runoff, there’s a place for you here. Join us: juliejohnson.com
Pastor Freddy Haynes endorsing Colin Allred in his runoff against sitting congresswoman Julie Johnson
In the #TX33 congressional runoff (a redrawn district), Colin Allred announces an endorsement from prominent pastor Dr. Freddy Haynes, who will be taking over Jasmine Crockett's seat. Allred is challenging sitting member Julie Johnson. The runoff is May 26.
Last night, no candidate secured a majority in #TX33, so this race continues. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this effort so far. We’re going to keep showing up, keep doing the work, and take this campaign all the way to the finish line.
The AP is projecting that former Rep. Colin Allred (currently at 44% of the vote) and Rep. Julie Johnson (33%) will head to a runoff in the #TX33 Democratic primary.
They didn't. #TX30 is still a safely blue Dallas-based seat that Crockett could have run for. Her pastor just won the primary last night.
Her home was moved into #TX33, but two-thirds of her old district is still in the new 30th.
BIG ELECTION TAKEAWAYS FROM TEXAS:

- James Talarico defeats Jasmine Crockett
- Incumbent AG Sid Miller defeated

- Runoff between Colin Allred, Julie Johnson in redrawn #TX33
- Tony Gonzales into a runoff
Former Rep. Colin Allred and his successor Julie Johnson advance to a runoff to see who will represent the new #TX33

A vote for Zeeshan Hafeez is a vote to break from the same entrenched politicians who answer to billionaires and foreign interests instead of the people of TX-33.
It’s time to put working families first and restore accountable leadership.

For too many Texans, renting feels like a trap. You pay on time and have nothing to show for it.
I wrote a bill to fix that — so responsible rental history can help you qualify for a mortgage. Building a future shouldn't be out of reach for Texans.

Julie Johnson and Colin Allred can not say the word GENOCIDE because they are owned by AIPAC.
I AM NOT AFRAID TO CALL A GENOCIDE A GENOCIDE.
Vote Zeeshan Hàfeez for #TX33 March 3rd!
Tasneem Al-Michael lays out the real opportunity in TX-33, one of the bluest districts in the country.
This community deserves more than a Corporatist Establishment Democrat in Name Only. It deserves a true Progressive who will fight unapologetically and relentlessly for working families.
