It's a very messy workbench and a very overworked tech.

The shop has many unfinished products, and one very over worked person, who hopefully, after the busy Christmas season, will get a few of these projects completed.

The hunt for two right side Shimano DX pedals continues. I have these two left ones, one is 1/2", and the other is 9/16". Soon, I hope.

Today, on #TalesFromTheWorkbench, where everything seems to be a throwaway item, break it, chunk it, buy another, I still seems to find a simple way to make something last. Recently, I broke one of favorite lights, added a zip tie, and pulled tight with the Hozan 4th hand. Good as new!

The idea of using anything other than the original @SRSuntour rear coaster brake hub just seemed so wrong. Getting through what was 50+ years of dirt and corrosion took some work, but the results speak for themselves. #Bikes #cycling #bikePorn #bikeart #bikeSky

And another Tales From The Workbench! The transformation from rusted out beach cruiser to decked out Klunker is just a thing of beauty. As the Musée du Louvre callwd it, "œuvre d'art." #Bikes #Cycling #TalesFromTheWorkbench

Today, for some #TalesFromTheWorkbench, I was recently given a few frames and forks from an old friend of mine who was out of room. Adding to the list of project bikes that I have growing. If you look closely, yoj might spot one of the King frames back from the powder coaters. #BikesSky #Bikes

We spent months on this build. And it turned out way better than I anticipated. What better way to show it off than a little Godzilla theme. Enjoy. #bike #Bikes #bikeporn #Cycling #Klunker #TalesFromTheWorkbench

I'm still waiting on the frame to come back from the powder coaters, so it was time to clean up those old Surly forks. #BikeSky #Bike #TalesFromTheWorkbench

This was a really fun build to do. From the paint removal and grinding off of the Gyro tabs. Fresh rattle can paint and era correct stickers. So clean! #BMX #BikeSky #cycling #TalesFromTheWorkbench

That is why I love to build wheels. The view through the valve stem hole is always a good one if done right. #Bikes #BikeSky #Cycling #BMX #TalesFromTheWorkBench

I was doing a grame swap last night in the shop when I hit a bit of a snag. This is what was left of the top headset bearing from the old frame. The sad thing is, these bearings were relatively new. #Bikes #BikeSky #BMX #GarageLife #TalesFromTheWorkbench

On this segment of #TalesFromTheWorkbench I present to you, a pair of, in excellent shape, Mavic Rims. These rims will be a perfect match to the hubs that I shall be using for a new, err, new to me "clunker" build.

Alright, everyone, it's time for Part Two of #TalesFromTheWorkbench A frame swap for Jonas from a smaller Sunday Soundwave to a longer and much more comfortable Deluxe Dirt frame. The brown frame at one time was mine, and he always loved it. So it seemed fitting to give it to him.

Being a tool nerd and a former employee of Sears Roebuck, having 2 of the same Philips Head Screwdrivers might seem redundant. But knowing the difference between the American produced one on the left and the knock-off from Lowes on the right is a must. #Dork
