Tanah Lot is one of Bali’s most important temples, built in the 16th century on a rock carved by the sea. When the tide rises, the temple stands surrounded by water, and visitors can only reach it once the ocean recedes

Bali is home to several temples and sacred sites. To understand the deep spirituality of this island, it’s important to visit at least a few. At Tanah Lot, one of Bali’s most popular temples, you have to wade through the ocean water to get to this ancient shrine on a rock. #Bali #TanahLot
Working on the #Bali section of my new website and wow, so many amazing memories are flooding back. It’s hard not to get distracted looking through photos like these. #TanahLot and #Tegallalang rice terraces of #Ubud are just magic.

How many artists have done paintings of a blue sky?

Here's one of mine. It's a pastel drawing of #TanahLot in #Bali which I visited twice in the 90s and stayed in the Artists' village of #Ubud. An inspirational place to make art then - although I'm guessing it might be very different now.
