1 Tea calendars are wonderful December-y things.
2 Natural flavors make nice smelling tea, but don't taste good.
3 Real ingredients are always better.
4 I like green tea more than I thought. But not rooibos.
5 Next year I'll repeat but with a different brand.

#Teavent day 24. I wish I could tell you that Christmas Shortbread was the perfect highlight to 24 days of tea drinking. So, despite the presence of "natural flavors", let's pretend it was. 🫖🫖

#Teavent day 23. Chamomile Nights was a perfectly fine tea to enjoy after ending the work year. It's a bit flat, maybe because of the "blended chamomile flowers" as first ingredient, or maybe that's the effect of the lotus flowers as 3rd ingredient (with spearmint in the middle). Rating: 🫖🫖

#Teavent day 22. Not sure what was snowy about this tea, but it was green outside when I went to my office this morning and white when I came home. So maybe it worked? Otherwise, a somewhat less good version of the earlier jasmine tea, because it's got "natural jasmine [& orange] flavors" Rating: 🫖🫖

#Teavent day 21. Yesterday rooibos was herbal tea, but today it's black tea per the calendar? That's confusing, especially since the first ingredient in this one is chamomile. This was better than yesterday, thanks to the chamomile. Not sure I got the spices or vanilla. Rating: 🫖🫖

#Teavent day 20. Golden caramel rooibos. Dry it smelled strongly of caramel and vanilla, but one steeped it smelled and tasted of nothing but rooibos. The smell was intense. Maybe I just don't like rooibos? Rating: 🫖

Catching up #Teavent day 19. Orange bergamot bright had three competing flavors thanks to the notorious "natural flavors". I finished it, but I wouldn't seek it out. Rating: 🫖🫖

A very dark colour for a tea with not much in the way of scent. Pleasing taste with a decent bit of body with not much in the way of tannin aftertaste.
Different but I think I like it.

Catching up #Teavent day 18. Blueberry Joy. This lovely tea is rosehip, hibiscus, apple, orange peel, blue pea flower, and natural blueberry flavor. This tea reminds me a lot of a tea I've had before...and would like to have again. A "cup of joy with this vibrant blueberry blend" indeed. Rating 🫖🫖🫖🫖

Belated #Teavent day 17. Candied Winter Strawberry mashes together 3 words & ideas somewhat randomly - but I love the festive red color. No strawberry was detected here - which is fine since strawberry doesn't belong in tea. There was a strong caramel smell, and weaker caramel aftertaste. Rating: 🫖🫖

A green tea with fruity bonuses. Another of these where it's a fruit tea but with a bonus kick. Good aroma and the flavours compliment decently.

Belated #Teavent day 16. Holiday Island Escape, green tea with natural pineapple and mango flavor. I'm learning I like green tea, but the pineapple added a discordant aftertaste. Rating: 🫖🫖What's much better? working from home this afternoon and seeing my kid get off the bus.
