The Rural Leadership Way! - With Neha Gujar We all know the challenges of rural India - lack of infrastructure, medical facilities, non-availability of quality education, and modern job opportunities. For those same reasons, people from urban India are unwilling to relocate to rural areas to make a difference in the lives of the rural. How about the rural youth take their destiny in their own hands instead of relying on people to relocate to their areas? That's a brilliant thought, but needs a lot of energy, perseverance, and work to be put to children and youth whose quality of education is abysmally poor. Neha Gujar works for Teach For India's TFIx-Teach For India program, which develops rural educational entrepreneurs who take leadership to serve their own communities in which they live. In this invigorating podcast, Neha shares the details about the TFIx program, how it helps the rural children, and some examples from her own experience. Neha shares that her parents are from rural Rajasthan, and being a defence child, she is inspired to serve the country in all ways that she could.
