On #internationalmigrantsday #TeamMenjivar joined CHIRLA for a day of unity with our migrant and immigrant communities, recognizing their invaluable contributions to California and supporting the call to protect workers rights and dignity.
There is nothing like coming together as a community during the holidays 🎄 #TeamMenjivar had a wonderful time attending the San Fernando Gardens Christmas Tree Lighting in #Pacoima and the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in #Burbank. Wishing everyone a warm and happy holiday season.
Over 800 #SD20 families were served at my Third Annual Turkey Giveaway! #TeamMenjivar and I couldn’t have done it without our hosts LA Mission College, the hard work of Ramp LA, the many volunteers & our partners AAA, Kroger, Pepsi, Mother’s Nutritional Center & Premier America Credit Union.

Today we honor the lives lost on September 11th, 2001 & the bravery of first responders who answered the call to serve at this pivotal time in history. #TeamMenjivar attended the LAFD memorial where we heard Interim Fire Chief Villanueva speak on the importance of remembering those lost #neverforget
#TeamMenjivar & I celebrated #BlackBusiness Month with Lou The French On The Block, who has been serving authentic French pastries in #Burbank for 9 years, and the Regional Cal Black Chamber #SFV during their community mixer. Support our local #SD20 #blackowned #smallbusinesses the whole year!
This year, #TeamMenjivar & I cohosted the NorCal SoCal CA Legislative All Star Softball 🥎 Game with Asm. Kalra & Asm. Valencia. I started the evening still in session & made it in time to bat! #SD20 nonprofit, Ahead with Horses, is one of the game’s beneficiaries. Thank you River Cats, for hosting!
