For #Teardown2024, I created an SMD solder challenge board. The OG design made by MakersBox was a perfect fit for the escalator artwork from the t-shirts, which I converted into PCB layers and printed by #OshPark. The component sizes went down to 0201, and some folks achieved a full build!

Tomatoes (and one precocious strawberry) are just starting to come in from the many plants in our garden. While the harvest is still manageable, I was inspired to lay them out in a histogram (tomatogram?) copied from @alpenglow's clever #teardown2024 talk.

A logo resembling the "Gap Kids" store logo, bit which says "GAP LEDS" instead in white with more subtle blue lettering turns the letters in "GAP" into "Geek Mom Projects"
It was @AlieGG's idea, since the #teardown2024 venue is an empty GAP store in a mostly abandoned mall, to make this banner that I'l print out and add to the display today:

I set up my "Light Wash Denim" installation at #teardown2024 yesterday with considerable help and total creative control provided by @AlieGG. She seriously needs to print business cards with the title "LED Stylist" on them because she is GOOD at it!

The hummingbird LED panel is now pixelmapped, attached to a #pixelblaze controller, and sewn to the back of an LED jacket for display as part of a "Light Wash Denim" collection at #teardown2024 in just over a week.
