Back in London, on dreary days shrouded in drizzling fog, every glimpse of a sunflower (even just an image of one) would conjure up memories of home. He'd never felt any type of way about them growing up in Kansas, then roll on the years and he found himself tearing up gazing at THE Sunflowers on that yearning night in Amsterdam. It seemed clear enough, right? So now here he is, lying in the bed of the truck, afloat in a sea of gold, his own face, like the flowers’, turned towards the sun. Still thinking of home. Of Rebecca.
