Alternate version of Teen titans 2003 episode 23 Betrayal in which in parallel to the date between Terra and Beastboy madly in love with the pretty blonde, the Teen titan tower is stormed by Slade's followers, Robin and Cyborg having unfortunately left on a mission to help firemen in an important fire in San Francisco, Starfire and Raven had to manage alone facing an army composed of 20 soldiers very well trained by Slade having put in great difficulty the heroines in spite of the advantage of their formidable superpowers. They managed to defeat 12 soldiers but were unfortunately neutralized by the power inhibitor collars that was placed by a formidable ninja technique that the heroines didn't have time to see coming. Having been stripped of their superpowers, they were rendered completely helpless and were securely bound/gagged in the living room as bait to lure Robin and Cyborg into a trap to neutralize them when they returned from their mission in California, Slade confessed to Starfire and Raven that he had set the whole thing up by making Terra his apprentice who was to be accepted into the team of young Titans going undercover to destroy them from within. This revelation came as a terrible shock to the vigilantes, especially the goth girl who had taken a while to trust Terra and this betrayal was as agonizing as if she had been stabbed in the chest and vowed to kill her without mercy when she was released.

Alternate version of Teen titans 2003 episode 23 Betrayal in which in parallel to the date between Terra and Beastboy madly in love with the pretty blonde, the Teen titan tower is stormed by Slade's followers, Robin and Cyborg having unfortunately left on a mission to help firemen in an important fire in San Francisco, Starfire and Raven had to manage alone facing an army composed of 20 soldiers very well trained by Slade having put in great difficulty the heroines in spite of the advantage of their formidable superpowers. They managed to defeat 12 soldiers but were unfortunately neutralized by the power inhibitor collars that was placed by a formidable ninja technique that the heroines didn't have time to see coming. Having been stripped of their superpowers, they were rendered completely helpless and were securely bound/gagged in the living room as bait to lure Robin and Cyborg into a trap to neutralize them when they returned from their mission in California, Slade confessed to Starfire and Raven that he had set the whole thing up by making Terra his apprentice who was to be accepted into the team of young Titans going undercover to destroy them from within. This revelation came as a terrible shock to the vigilantes, especially the goth girl who had taken a while to trust Terra and this betrayal was as agonizing as if she had been stabbed in the chest and vowed to kill her without mercy when she was released.

In order to fully understand how a victim who had to spend several hours in rather poor comfort could feel, Starfire wanted to sit on a wooden box without a cushion and decided to pass the time by watching a few episodes of Airwolf.

During her period of redemption and adaptation to life on Earth, Blackfire underwent hard training in order to master her powers as well as to be able to work in a team without having to act solo and/or endanger the team by acting like a hothead, she had to be accompanied by a team member but it was often her sister who volunteered in case one of her friends was busy doing something important that shouldn't be interrupted. In order to avoid Blackfire being tempted again to turn to the dark side by betraying the group (especially after what happened in season 2 with Terra), she had to accept to be firmly bound/ gagged once a day for 3 hours by Robin, Changelin, Cyborg, Raven or her sister without the slightest reluctance because it was one of the conditions required for her rehabilitation and to become soon the sixth member of the Teen titans. To prevent her from escaping by not respecting the rule, she had to wear an electronic necklace made by Cyborg capable of inhibiting her powers and making her as helpless as an earthling. This wasn't easy to accept but it was the price to pay to be able to gain the trust of her partners and especially to regain the trust of Starfire, of which she must be an example as a big sister. After having had 3 hours of aerial training to use her powers effectively and then a martial arts fight against Robin, Blackfire had to undergo her therapy while being bound/gagged and took advantage of this moment to relax in her bedroom, her muscles were so solicited to fight effectively by mixing techniques of karate, taekwondo, krav-maga, kung-fu and capoeira that they were quite sore.
