The county tax assessor, in its infinite wisdom, has determined that my house increased in value by $84.60 PER DAY over the past year, which means $30,879 more in taxable value. This despite the fact that no house has sold in my subdivision in 2.5 years because no one can get financing. #TexasTaxes
