I commuted to London from #Hertfordshire for over 30 years from the 1970s. The #Thameslink service was then on old diesel engines and slam door carriages. There were delays due to the #electricification of the route under the #Thameslink2000 project due to be completed in 2000 1/2
Went through new platforms and across new viaduct at London Bridge earlier en route to Waterloo East. Pretty exciting. #Thameslink2000
