Continue to send your thanks on behalf of the #ThankYouBrigade to federal employees. Look up addresses for local offices, send notes they can forward to Fed Friends. If you need a script, hunt the hashtag, I've posted one.

#ThankYouBrigade
Weekend #ThankYouBrigade agenda:
1. Find local NWS, EPA, Social Security, DOE, USDA offices. (email or web Contact forms)
2. Email parks, forests, historic sites you love
3. Check on your Fed Friends, write notes they can pass along
4. Recruit more Brigade members
Positive activism soothes everyone
Today sent #ThankYouBrigade notes to local offices of EPA, NPS, USDA, & NWS. Used contacts on websites.
Rough script:
"I'm part of the Thank You Brigade. We're thanking federal public servants. I value your agency because ____.
We appreciate your service. Please share with your coworkers.
Thanks,"
Be sure to rep the #ThankYouBrigade in your emails. This is one note I got back:
“I've shared your message with my bosses in hopes that we can share it more widely with our staff. I definitely think your message would brighten their day. Please pass along our "thanks" to the rest of the Brigade!”
Hey folks, good job today!
We protested at our capitols.
We went to congressional offices.
We called & emailed.
We were @indivisible.org.
We thanked our public servants as the #ThankYouBrigade.
As @balint.house.gov asked, we channeled our ‘inner scrappy little dyke.’
Rest up.
Stay united.
Hey #ThankYouBrigade! This is the nice note I got back from my local National Forest Rangers:
‘Thank you very much! I will make sure to pass this note along to all the folks in our office. It's folks like you that make us love what we do!’
Positive activism is the detox you need right now. Try it.
In 2017, NOAA was one of the organizations we did a live #ThankYouBrigade at. They were incredibly gracious. We gave them coffee and doughnuts and thank you notes. They gave us a tour of their facility, including the Space Weather labs that keep this doofus' satellites safe.
The #ThankYouBrigade continues! Who do you know who works at a federal agency? Send them a note or give them a call from ALL of us! Especially send thanks to USAID and Department of Education workers, whose agencies are disappearing altogether.
Send some thanks today. These servants need a lift.
@beeznplantz.bsky.social maybe clue your APA group into this, if they don’t already know about the #ThankYouBrigade.
I love this! #ThankYouBrigade
We are doing a #ThankYouBrigade which we first did in 2017 and thanking federal workers for their service. If you’ve ever been to a national park or forest, gotten help from an office, etc. call them up and just say thanks. More info at the hashtag. There are good scared folks who need a lift.
Want to do a little positive activism?
Join the #ThankYouBrigade.
In agency offices around the country are folks who spent their careers tending our parks and forests, keeping our planes flying, letting us know when stuff isn’t safe, etc. If you know them, thank them for us.
Spread the word.
And if you personally know any feds, rep us! Email or call: "Hey, I'm calling on behalf of the #ThankYouBrigade. Your agency has helped 1000s of us over the years and you are seen, you are appreciated, and we're grateful for your service. Please share our thanks with your coworkers.
That's it.
If you have a specific story, share it. Completely positive. Completely non political. Just grateful. Let them know you’re grateful for their service. That’s the mission. We’re also organizing an in-person event in Denver. I’ll give you a way to know more. But for now, thank a fed. #thankyoubrigade
We’re launching a #ThankYouBrigade for federal public servants starting today. Call or email any federal office that’s mattered to you. National Park. EPA. Local Social Security office. National Forest. Just say thanks for serving. Nothing else. No politics. Nothing that would cause trouble. 1/2
