So, #TheAcoloyte ended up being one of those shows where the noise of everyone screaming how God-awful it is puts your expectations at rock-bottom, then you actually sit down and watch it and it's... fine?

I mean, the lightsaber fight scenes were pretty sweet.

I enjoyed #TheAcoloyte, found it entertaining. I have numerous praises, criticisms and some things I feel they got outright wrong. I view it in the same vein as The Last Jedi: there is great messaging in the story, but if there’s not a follow up that’s a disservice to the story.

A solid finale to an erratic season, a badass fight & some cool cameos see #TheAcoloyte out on a high but it can’t mask the show’s overall disappointment. It had its moments for sure but all in all it just felt like a big nothing burger of a show with huge script & pacing issues
