I’ve been seeing Stephen Schwartz musicals lately. This is my voter’s invite to #TheBakersWife (adapting a 1938 French movie) at CSC, starring the likes of Ariana DeBose, Scott Bakula, and Kevin Del Aguila. I got the PR email that Judy Kuhn will be out, with Wendi Bergamini understudying.

I've never sobbed uncontrollably at Meadowlark before, and I've easily heard the song a thousand times. Ariana DeBose is just that good. #TheBakersWife #CSC

#ScottBakula will star opposite #ArianaDeBose in the #OffBroadway revival of #TheBakersWife. Bakula will star as baker Aimable Castagnet. The show officially opens November 11, with previews starting October 23.
