The hardest thing about drawing Muck was the scabs all over his body. In this black and white drawing, it was easier, but it was more challenging in full colour. I got the hang of it over time I think.
Even though he's described as having a red eye, I feel it would be too much colour. A muddy brown eye felt more emblematic of filth and decay.

More punching above my weight. I started drawing this with the black sun and trees making the shape of an eye already in mind. I wanted to make something that looked like a graphic novel cover, but ended up just adding more and more to the colour sketch instead.

#nsfw #FeedThePig #TheBlackFarm #EliasWitherow #splatterpunk Muck. This guy. You see more of him in the book. That's all I'll say. I do still have some paper sketches if I decide I wanna share those later.

The onesie kid. When I started drawing him without the mask, I unconsciously based the face on what became of Prushka from Made in Abyss after she first ascended the fifth layer. I was happy with it for the longest time, but later on, I felt it was too "cute" and tried again with a different style.
I could've posted this on its own I guess.

Danny. I was punching VERY much above my weight when I decided to draw the first image with more "realistic" shading, while being terrible at drawing clothing folds and not using any references.
The second image is just from the start of the FTP creepypasta. I'm a lot more satisfied with this one. Especially with how I rendered the room.

Some Pig-Born. Neither Feed the Pig nor The Black Farm had qualms about describing the sexual abuses of these creatures, so I felt that not drawing the genitalia would be a failure to depict their disgustingness. Body horror was virgin territory for me, so my strategy at the time for drawing them was just to slather the skin with varying scars, bruises, visible blue veins, cellulite, etc., to break up the uniformity of the skin.

The big one in the bottom centre is from the second book. The rest are designs I came up with.

Everything here is from the first book.
On the left is one of the two massive Pig-Born that directly guard the Pig. You can also see the cracked gaping wound that passes for a Sun in the Black Farm.
On the upper-right is the Pig-Born that drags the protagonist of the book to his orientation.
On the lower-right are the Keepers, obscured by 'Aerial perspective' and fog.

#nsfw #FeedThePig #TheBlackFarm #EliasWitherow #splatterpunk I drew these in 2021, but I left them to rot for years because I ordinarily never post NSFW. I've put notes in the Alt Text of all these images.

More characters from "The Black Farm". These guys are the Eyes of the World, Ansem (blue) and Tolin (red). Representing heaven and hell respectively, and keeping tabs on the Pig and the Farm.

Review: I was captivated by "The Black Farm" by Elias Witherow. A gruesome horror novel with an eerie atmosphere that lingers. Highly recommend for anyone who loves an engaging read that has you on pins and needles! 3.75* #BookRecommendation #TheBlackFarm #MustRead 💙📚
