Wyrm Workbench: Writing Through the False Spring I didn’t wait to feel better this week. I sat upstairs with the birds and the shifting sky, with migraines pressing at the edges and a body that kept trying to call it quits, and I wrote anyway. Not perfectly. Not gracefully. But consistently enough to remind myself that the words are still there. Between storm warnings and side-eyes from a very concerned Service Dingo, something shifted. Not a breakthrough. Not a miracle. Just… movement. And sometimes, that’s the closest thing we get to magic.

Saturday Health Update: False Spring, Fragile Brains, & Being Herded by a Very Opinionated Dog False spring has arrived in Illinois, and my nervous system has filed a formal complaint. The birds are thriving, the weather is lying, and my service dog has appointed herself both supervisor and enforcer of my bad decisions. Between migraines, brief moments of peace at the upstairs table, and being herded back to bed like particularly uncooperative livestock, this week has been a mix of soft wins and stubborn survival.
