The three main characters of Darren Shan's "The Demonata" series posed up based on various points in the books. Left is Kernel Fleck, in the middle is Bec McConn, and to the right is Grubbs Grady. Kernel is in the middle of forming a window out of orange lights and with a disgruntled look on his face asks to (presumable) Grubbs: "Got all the crying out of your system?" Bec has her fingers extended out towards the viewer almost in finger-gun motion, while her other hand channels energy, the one pointing up explodes in a starry display of magics and she holds a rather solemn expression. Grubbs is suffering from his lycanthropy acting up, with fingers becoming claws, his back arching and wanting to burst through his jumper as he holds himself back with a strained "Grrrr.... No........" Surrounding them are chibis of them in earlier books, full of whimsy and hope
