State senator responds after chief of staff arrested on federal child sex trafficking charges The FBI arrested the Chief of Staff of a Mat-Su lawmaker Friday after a federal grand jury returned an indictment charging him with sex trafficking children, among other charges.

Craig Scott Valdez, top aide to GOP Alaska state senator George Rauscher, was arrested for sex-trafficking.

One victim's mother tracked down her child at Valdez's house, punched him in the face, & rescued her child.
