Some of them are people trying to 'cash in' on the Frugal bandwagon. Some are really helpful though. I wrote my #TheFrugalist book 8 years ago just after having cancer and chemo leaving me with no ability to work for a while and my husband's income relied on mine. It's even more relevant now!

I've noticed quite a few 'bot' type posts in this feed on that anti-Frugal subject.
I have written the fairly political #TheFrugalist book and my book gets ratings attacks to keep the stars down. 😆That's OK though as it says more about the book & about right wingers than even positive ratings do!

OOH I LOVE roasted Cauliflower. It's sometimes possible to pick up the end of season caulis cheap at our local street market, but getting late for that now. But I'll file this one! #TheFrugalist

We have the same bank account but one of the reasons I married my OH was because he's very honest and generally better with money than me. BUT lazier than me and only earns what we absolutely need... and often not that much TBH. SO we put him in charge of basics & I do the extras. #TheFrugalist

Are you going to go and see The Salt Path? Have you read the book? Highly recommended to anyone facing financial and health challenges. I read it when recovering from cancer. I had no financial safety net and we were scraping pennies for the next meal. It helped with my recovery! #TheFrugalist

Just before lockdown in 2020 I published #TheFrugalist not a great time. Everyone was trying to 'prep' and stock up. But now IS a good time. I'm Europen a LOT of the tips are worldwide. And there's even some Frugal health there I'm going to follow this with a post JUST for my American friends.

Going off-grid on a frugal budget? It's a LOT cheaper to have backup plans for dull days, especially in largely sunny places. Get all your backups in place before deciding on your current needs. Took 12 Y/O cat to the vet yesterday. I just didn't want to be wrong in my 'diagnosis' that she has osteoarthritis. I wasn't 🙄. 100euros down. But no way can I pay the recommended 78 e-quid per month for injections. So CBD it will be. My cats always have (well researched) human meds. #TheFrugalist
