My favorite novel of 2023 was #LoneWomen by @Victorlavalle.bsky.social
Each blends genres—historical fiction, fantasy, literary fiction, horror—and have #BIPOC #women protagonists. Both transport the reader to a different time, place, plane.

He's by far the most interesting character.
I just adore his extravagance and sweeping gestures.
This dance scene is amusing and alluring in equal measure!
