Sonic decides to relax a little watching the sunset with his friends, since they decided to help him relieve all the stress and fear that he had to go through due to his night curse (at first sonic didn't want his friends to worry too much about him, but they managed to convince him since it was a way to compensate them for hiding their secret since the beginning of the crisis).
I consider it as a kind of epilogue for this story.

His initial appearance
The appearance he takes on for Issue 10, perfect form. The final battle would see Sonic imbued with the rest of Dark Gaia, transforming him from the Gaiahog to the dark god itself, to have a fighting chance with Super Shadow by his side. Unlike the comic proper, where he ultimately survives his "destruction" thanks to Sonic and Shadow's Gaia Control, this universe's version of him will be taken down for good, leaving Eggman to have to make a new Metal Sonic from scratch.
An alternate universe version of @tiliqi.bsky.social's "The Heart of a Monster" where everything is the same except that Eggman put Light Gaia's energy into Metal Sonic, with him absorbing Chip instead of stripping Sonic of his Gaiahog form.
