First thought was #TheHousemartins, then #HueyLewisAndTheNews; I went for “St. James’ Infirmary” by *either* the fab @hughlaurie.bsky.social or #TheHotSardines, since I love both versions & artists!
‘A song that starts with W’ is the theme for #Day23 of #DavidsMonthOfMusic - this brought me to a lot of choices, but I went for #TheHotSardines and their 2016 track “When I Get Low I Get High” featuring the wonderful actor & singer #AlanCumming on vocals too! Lots of fun with this one!

Time is flying this week, a bit late in the day but… #Day9 of #DavidsMonthOfMusic has theme ‘the first song you’d put on a mixtape to a crush’… I have gone for #TheHotSardines & their live version of “T’ain’t Nobody’s Business” (2013) - shows off talented musicians, not modern but radiating quality!
#DavidsMonthOfMusic Day 13 challenge is for “A song featuring a featured artist”; I’ve already mentioned one of my recent faves, The Hu & “Wolf Totem”, so will go for “When I Get Low, I Get High” by #TheHotSardines featuring the #fabulous @alancumming.bsky.social duetting with #MizElizabethBougerol.
