Poor Zelda, perhaps she should have been more flexible and less strict with Link about spring cleaning and now she is paying the price, but she can count on Spirit who isn't abandoning her and is staying by her side to keep her company until she decides to free her.

Alternate version of The legend of Zelda 1989 episode 1 The ringer in which a Moblin sneaks up behind Link and attacks him, while more Moblins enter his bedroom. One of the minions attempts to steal the Triforce of Wisdom from Link's bedroom, but the young hero manages to defeat them and send them back to Ganon's evil pot. Link then notices that one of the Moblins has dropped a magic ring and pockets it before Zelda knocks on his door. Fed up with Zelda refusing to give him a kiss despite him preventing Ganon's army's third attempt to steal the Triforce, Link decides to use the magic ring, which has an immediate hypnotic effect on Zelda. This evil reflection is accompanied by a few moblins who capture Zelda. Link is unaware of what has happened, and the evil reflection tricks him into removing the Triforce from the castle so that Ganondorf can steal it. Fortunately, Zelda managed to free herself from her captivity and convince Link that he had been manipulated by an evil clone who had ordered him to steal the Triforce. Dark Zelda was deeply humiliated by the real Zelda, who made impressive use of the Triforce to make her pay for her vicious ploy to deceive Link. Ganondorf, disgusted that Dark Zelda had failed in her mission, decided to punish her severely by tying/gagging her in a gloomy cell in his castle where she would be left without any comforts for several hours.
