lizziea2 v Ive fallen into the Swiftie vortex, and l have been amusing myself thinking about how being a Whovian and a Swiftie are pretty similar. 1. I see people online mourning the end of the TTPD era as the Showgirl era is about to begin, which feels a lot like mourning the previous Doctor as they are about to regenerate. 2. The eras come with different costumes and aesthetics. (Pinstripes and converses into bow ties and fezes. Monochromatic tortured poet into dazzling feathered showgirl.) 3. A scarf figures in pretty heavily in both the 4th Doctor era and the Red era. 4. Lost loves? Many the modern era Doctors and Taylor have a story (or several) about that. 5. 5. The Doctor always has issues with The Master. Taylor had issues with her masters. Unfortunately, I don't think the Doctor's problem will be resolved as Taylor's was. 6. Both the Doctor and Taylor have a complicated love for London. If you can think of any other ones, add them on! I can't always figure out Easter eggs but I can amuse myself with posts like this.
