Oh, Ray Milland. You'll always be one of my favorite actors for your ability to credibly sell a character who didn't notice that a 30 year old Ginger Rogers wasn't a 13 year old girl.

Billy Wilder is responsible for many things but it’s nice to see in his very first movie he invented cat-fishing on a grand scale.

yeeeaaaah #TheMajorAndTheMinor is a tough film to advocate for cause so much of it is predicated on a woman pretending to be 12 but with the mental capacity of a 7 year old. It’s doing its best to remain “wholesome” about it and Rogers is throwing everything she amply has into it.
