Oh my word…. This is quite the mash-up… long been a fan both of #TomLehrer’s musical talents (30+ yrs) and @mitchbenn.bsky.social musical humour and songs from #TheNowShow onwards (c.20 yrs)… I saw Tom’s copyright from 1960s has expired on his songs last year I think, so all open for use.

Oh I don’t like #TheNakedWeek. Agree on #TheNowShow. Love love love #deadringers & #thenewsquiz except for the week Geoff Norcott killed it. I now say “I KNOW!” like Jan Raven’s Liz Truss. Hope #theunbelievabletruth returns soon.

#thenakedweek is way better than #thenowshow that carried on far too long past its sell by date. On a par with #thenewsquiz and #deadringers. I am definitely a fan.

I’ve adored #TheNowShow (& it’s elections-focussed #VoteNowShow) for all the years, long-term listener of the show, and I will miss it greatly: its variety of segments, satirical music, comment on the week’s news & fun impressions. Writing team always good, at least shows available on BBC Sounds.
