The swim was about highlighting how sharks are essential for a healthy ocean.

But they are under serious threat - 275,000 are killed every day.

12 days & 59 miles around Martha’s Vineyard, where Jaws was filmed 50 years ago.

It's been one of the toughest swims of my life. Cold water, relentless wind, big waves and the constant thought of what might be beneath me.

But I swam here for a reason 👇

You can’t negotiate with nature.

On Day 8, I barely managed 2 km in brutal conditions. Yesterday, with the wind and tide finally on my side, I swam 13.2 km.
