After sitting on it, I think #TheUglies may be ahead of it's time in that we feel due for a mid-2000's, early 2010's revival soon. We've been teasing it with the new Hunger Games and the brief Twilight resurgence.

#TheUglies I don't remember the plot of the book enough to tell if the movie is accurate in that way, but the vibes are certainly right.
