Our queen Pilgor must've gotten a hold of that special Slurp Juice from a few seasons ago, the one that doesn't just heal all your health and shields, over time, but also overfills you with 'reserve health'. Clearly she must've drank it when she really didn't need to since she's gotten modestly pudgy.
