it's a two game final, but DANG. chaotic but entertaining match today. long is a legend. #thisisjeopardy

this is lucas partridge, the final game winner of season 39. he has won three games and 66,200 dollars so far, but because the writers strike led to the show bringing back s37/s38 champs for tournaments with a mixture of old and pre-strike new clues, he has been waiting forever for regular play to resume. it is an absolute mystery as to what will happen when he comes back. maybe he will have trained his buzzer reflexes to be near flawless, and maybe he will have studied so hard, he'll know practically everything in the whole entire universe. he could become a trivia god who wins endlessly. or he could anticlimactically lose right out the gate because of nerves, or end up against a different trivia god. no one knows! it is a mystery!

i am rooting for this man to win at least one more jeopardy game when he finally returns in march or april or whenever. such astronomical patience should be rewarded. #thisisjeopardy
