Announcement! Act Up London's Black History Month Takeover on Friday 11th October: This Is My Culture (TIMC): Celebrating Black Queer Joy, Resistance, and Power 🥁

"Black queer artists aren’t just influences — we are originators. From house to disco to rock ’n’ roll, our sound built the foundations of music. Too often erased — not here, not tonight.

This is a protest rave, a celebration, and a community gathering all at once. Expect talks, performances, food, and a club night that doesn’t just play music of Black origin — it honours the roots and the people who made it possible.

✨ What to expect:

- Talks & panel amplifying Black queer voices
- Performances from incredible QTBIPOC talent
- Food, social spaces, and Vogue Kiki moments
- DJs taking you through the full spectrum of Black-origin sounds, from soul to house to techno and more

A dancefloor that is both protest and pure joy!
