An odd looking Curve-billed Thrasher ( Toxostoma curvirostre) perched up in a Joshua Tree, has a Kirk Douglas-thing going on with the 'cleft' in the breast feathers.
That's a Mojave County Scrub-jay (Aphelocoma woodhouseii) up on a wire in profile.
And as the sun set last night I met a Mockingbird (Mimus polyglottos) singing a tune up on the wire as well.
๐ฟ Good morning #Bluesky! Too busy at work to play today, so all I've got for ya are the birbs I mentioned I met last night. A #3sday combo #ThrasherThrusday + #ThursJay + #Mimidae skeet, if you will...๐
Have a sweet Friday Jr.!!!
