One of those teas that truly lives up to its name this #JinMudan from is awesome. A cross between #TieGuanYin and #HuangJinGui, it exudes the fresh scent of #peony and white flowers. Mildly oxidized, it reveals a fruity, floral, and green profile with a buttery richness reminiscent of milky #oolong.

Had this #TieGuanYin from #YunnanSourcing and oh my god it tasted weirdly like a milk #oolong. Its so savoury, spinachy, sweet, very soup like, buttery mouthfeel and a strong milky quality. Just WOW. Not like any TGY I've had before but it's shockingly good. Will drink again

Breaking out an Aged Reserve Tieguanyin today. This is from a 1985 picking, and using the Qing Xiang method of processing where aging with occasional light roasting is used to develop deep complex flavours. Very heavy on caramel, with redwood and camphor spice. #tea #tieguanyin #gongfu
