Northwest Arkansas Times: February 8, 1947 “News Of… Tontitown J.H. Pozza Mr. and Mrs. Leo Pianalto of Tontitown announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Olivia, to C.J. Ciganero of Texarkana. Mrs. Albano Maestri has been elected president of the Rosary Society, it was announced here Saturday. Other officials are Rachael Franco, vice president and Mrs. George Hartman, secretary-treasurer, Mrs. Bill Fiori and Rachael Franco were hostesses Monday at a shower honoring Miss Lavina Maestri. The shower was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. Ardemagni. Thirty guests were present and refreshments were served. The St. Joseph Society will meet Friday at the Tontitown School to elect officers for the year. Pete Feasaro [Tessaro] has returned from a business trip to Fort Smith. The 4-H Club met at the school building Monday afternoon for a demonstration of hot-bed making for the boys, and making clothing for the girls.”
