Dear #TopChef,
The reason your colour challenge failed is because it was dumb. I would love to see every judge on that panel try and pull off what they were asking the chefs to do and see how well it would turn out. A silly overly complicated challenge that obviously no one enjoyed. Do better.
This week, instead of trying to veganize one #TopChef dish, I decided just to try the elimination challenge because it looked fun. The challenge was to make a dish with at least two naturally dyed elements.
In our home we watch food competition shows like they're the Super Bowl playoffs. We even cheer for our favorite chefs (Aron Sanchez, Alex Guarnaschelli, Antonia Lofaso, Amanda Freitag) and jeer those we dislike.(Katsuji Tanabe, Marcel Vigneron, Budha Lo, Carlos Anthony)
