While I've toyed with the idea of AU Ciera becoming the matron of her birth tribe in Xak Tural, I think mainline Ciera will never truly settle down, continuing to wander all her life, eventually dying in her sleep in some random village she was passing through at the time.

Ciera's accent is a mix of Hein's and Erenville's English VA's, like a cross between Chinese & Icelandic (if you've ever heard Mongolians speaking English). She learned common during years of Garlean captivity, so she can speak it though her accent's a bit thick at times.

Lore-wise, Ciera was the name of a friend she made in Dalmasca who sacrificed herself to save her, while Nighthawk was derived from her Tribal adult name Tüngi Qusbegi or "Bird Lord of the Night" which she had described as "She who hunts with hawks by night", hence Nighthawk.

Parent's caravan was attacked by a Xaela tribe (probably Dotharl) and she was the only survivor, found by the Torgud who gave her a close-knit extended adopted family who love and care about her and treat her as one of their own.

Ciera relaxes in the hammock of the Hunter's Camp wearing her modified Agoge furs and leathers, her Torgud paint still on, Veldian Axe resting to the side. She loves this region of Xak Tural, being similar in climate to the Nhaama Desert she grew up on, with the addition of beautiful gorges and rivers (not to mention the occasional ruin to explore). She spends much of her downtime in and around the Tinder Valley region, feeling very close to it, spiritually, like she's pulled there, or perhaps further north? She explores a bit more with each visit, rarely seeing other people, save the occasional Hhetsarro, which she gives a wide birth when she can. Thanks to the apparent hostility between the Hhetsarro and her birth tribe (which she has yet to fully track down) within these hinterlands between the northern forests and the Shaaloani grasslands, Moon Keepers are treated with open hostility. The only thing that keeps her from being immediately attacked is her use of Turali and Foreign garb, and keeping her horns covered when she's spotted, which trigger a fight every time. From what she has gleaned from more amiable travelers, the Northern Moon Tribes are goat-worshipers, and their leaders all wear goat's horns (though she suspects many or all aren't headdresses at all). She'll find out soon enough.
