Living under this current administration is like having constant sea sickness. Everything feels unstable and foggy and you can’t see the horizon to center yourself so you just clutch your stomach and hope you don’t get sicker #torturedmetaphor

Writing is like shoelaces… This is an image I get in my head whenever I’m revising - my fingers twined in laces, pulling things tighter, smoother. I always picture skate laces for some reason (I’m Canadian?), but shoelaces work...
