1) it flooded... a lot
2) it was across the busy highway (busy!) from the halte cycliste.
3) they opened a new parking lot across the highway beside the halte cycliste (& installed a toilet, too).

I have written to the municipality to bring back a public toilet at Belvedere Louis-Philippe Hébert outside of Sainte-Sophie-d'Halifax, Québec.
The public toilet here was removed when covid arrived and has never returned.
