Unrelated yet delightful: stay on the top floor of a #ToyokoInn and you get blue snow from the LED sign panels reflecting onto the flakes.

Brand new #ToyokoInn (Tottori station, kita-guchi one) last night — so newly open that the congratulations flowers are still in the entryway!

Another great night in my favourite Japanese hotel chain, the #ToyokoInn. Quintessential Japanese “business hotel” experience, and you have to love beige, but I appreciate the consistency of experience, station-side locations and the lovely deep soaking tubs after a day of walking.
