First MR James story ever adapted for TV was 'The Lost Will of Dr Rant' [i.e. #TractateMiddoth] in 1951 - it starred Leslie Nielson.
I laid the smack down and we watched #TractateMiddoth - now Mrs Brown's Boys is on. I'm focussing on my injuries.
It's probably an issue with the source text rather than the adaptation but #TractateMiddoth feels more like a prologue than a full story.
Not sure about #TractateMiddoth so far - perfectly solid and serviceable but faithfulness is compromising how interesting it is.
