The events of #TragicWeek in #Argentina began on #ThisDayInHistory in 1919. Striking workers at a metals plant were attacked by police, killing five. A port #strike then spread through Buenos Aires. #FarRight mobs killed Jews while troops killed hundreds to suppress the workers.
