Anyone else's neighborhood streets & alleys look like a disaster zone now that the snow melted?
#TrinidadDC streets are 100x cleaner than they were 15 yrs ago, but now is the worst I've seen in a decade. Honestly, DPW should sweep every single street now (they won't, neighbors will eventually).

Picture of the bike lanes on West Virginia Avenue NE, immediately north of Florida Avenue. There used to be protections along this stretch of the road for the bike lanes, but they were removed a year ago for a construction project and never replaced.
Who is the person at @ddotdc.bsky.social in charge of the upkeep/replacement of the bollards and wheel stops for protected bike lanes? There was a utility cut done here early last year. It took 6+ months to get the pavement redone, and the bike lane protection was never replaced. #bikeDC #TrinidadDC

Since this has been shared over 2600 times in this platform, I’m sure many of you have already seen this, but this is Joe Cole Community Center in #TrinidadDC. They’re checking cars in the parking lot where the elementary teachers park for our kiddo’s adjacent school. This isn’t a crime hot spot.
