redphrase is lying straight through his teeth, unable to keep eye contact as he does REDPHRASE: "I haven't ruined your perception of me yet. Gotta speed up the process."

para's expression doesn't change, still staring at redphrase (the camera) in his resting bitch face. he thinks to himself, PARAPHRASE: (Rewrite is going to be there, isn't he.)

the scene cuts to the arcade. redphrase and paraphrase are stationed in front of polybius. redphrase is pointing at it in shock while paraphrase stands there unamused REDPHRASE: "POLYAMOROUS" PARAPHRASE: "Nope, try again."

if i focus hard enough i can blow up redphrase with my mind my human design of redphrase(? idk if his canon name is satan or not)! he keeps the same colorscheme as the original design, just suited for a human instead. he has fluffy hair (with stray tufts meant to look like the ears) and a golden headband. he has two raccoon tail strands of hair in front (meant to look like the shell) and a loose ponytail in the back (meant to look like the tail) he wears a loose red-and-white zigzag shirt with uneven sleeves, exposing the black tanktop / leotard underneath. he also has black pants / leotard(...? up to interpretation idrc) to match. everything else is the same, though- green and pink arm and legwarmers, black fingerless gloves with three rings on each hand, purple spike cuffs below the legwarmers, and red sneakers. yay!

my evil fanon human paraphrase design. the lock on his forehead has been turned into a small headband/headpiece. instead of a messy bun, para has a messy ponytail that points upwards (which is meant to represent the quills). they wear a sleeveless checkered shirt and high-waisted shorts, a belt separating the two. the regular clothes he has as well as his rings are all in their usual spots. notes (in counter-clockwise) "hairtie is just a hairtie, not a soul ring" -> "i imagine he's not very happy about the lack of symmetry" "ears" -> (pointing at the tuft of hair that resembles the original ears) "hair goes behind eyeliner" separate copy of the para doodle, the lock is transparent to reveal the triangular hairline underneath "lock is a hairpiece. can't be removed, but can be repositioned" -> "the hairline is hidden underneath the lock" "soul rings are still soul rings" -> "how did he get the clothes on with the rings in the way? whoooo knooowwsss..." "ear" -> pointing at the actual ear this time

my human design for rephrase. he has pale yellow skin, purple messy hair tied into a low ponytail, a single exposed eye with pink eyeliner, and blonde tufts of hair sticking out of his yellow headband (halo). notably, he doesn't have a mouth, but he does have a small pointed nose. for attire, he wears 80's-inspired yoga gear, featuring a black and lilac leotard, a shoulderless purple shirt with a white semi-circle design, green armwarmers and pink legwarmers (with triangular designs on each, and purple and white shoes. he is also carrying a green and white dufflebag. :]
