They're sitting in a confident and relaxed pose on a rock, with their axe (because of who I am as a person, it's a pulaski, actually), dressed in tall logging boots, loose pants, and a leather armor vest over a flannel shirt with the sleeves ripped off. They have several tattoos: vine maple leaves on their right arm, some Sycthian inspired ungulates on their left arm, and the word "left", tattooed on their right knuckles (Look, you don't have to be smart to be good and kind and smash bad guys). The sides of their head are shaved and on the side you can see is another tattoo, a Scythian-style woodland caribou. Their hair is in a long braid, tied off with bear bells and steller's jay feathers.
Eep! I made an art. This is my D&D character, Will Feral. I don't know what else to say about them, lol.

I thought I'd make an illustration. The reference of July's Draw This! challenge of True Reference inspired me. I saw immediately a fierce gladiator, ready to fight...

First post and first art challenge! Loved the pose, I've been wanting to do a dramatic illustration to get back into drawing. I always like the concept of the Lady of the Lake. I also got to try some cool effects to make her look more ethereal.

I made this based on the tutorial by Sylessae on TrueRef.
In order: Frankenstein (with extra adjustments and detailing), no reference and with reference.

Designed this OC on a whim; based on the reference image. This one really helped me put some of my worldbuilding ideas into perspective; the reference being such a striking visual that sent me down a creative rabbit hole almost immediately.
