Wrapping up Olallie State Park with Naido's spot (with a cameo from my wife), Steven and Gersten's tree (since felled by a storm), the spot where TPSD starts towards Jack Rabbit's Palace, the former Convenience Store location and an epilogue at Weeks Falls (with more cameos).

The Weeks Falls Interpretive Trail at Olallie State Park is home to many Twin Peaks locations. This set includes the trailhead (from The Missing Pieces), Cooper's tree (from Part 17) and the path to Jack Rabbit's Palace (from Part 14), with more to come next time.

This is the first of three highlighting Olallie State Park, which was used prominently for FWWM and The Return.

This one features Deer Meadow Mountain, the Deer Meadow Sheriff's Department and the river where the body of Teresa Banks was found.

The Salish Lodge exteriors look almost exactly as they did 35 years ago. Inside, it has a beautiful dining room with fantastic views of the Falls. Lil Cooper was excited to visit Room 315 but don't tell him that was all just soundstages in the original series!

Snoqualmie Falls is just as awesome as you'd think, even if you get there after it's been raining all morning (like we did) and the air is filled with mist. Can only imagine what this is like on a clear day.

Snoqualmie Point Park offers spectacular views of the nearby mountains. You can see why Laura and Donna chose it for their picnic spot. James seemed to think it was a good spot for brooding, too.

Downtown Snoqualmie is another area packed with #TwinPeaks locations:

* "House" (actually a train museum) on file from Cooper's real estate search

There's an intersection in #TwinPeaks where nothing good ever happens. It's where the One-Armed Man accosted Leland and Laura in FWWM and where one of the most gut-wrenching moments of The Return occurred, which is the focus of these photos.

The DirtFish folks were unbelievably nice to us. They invited us to look around, sit at Lucy's desk and hang around as much as we liked. A true trip highlight!

Leaving North Bend heading towards the city of Snoqualmie, a short stretch of SE Reinig Road leads you from the Welcome sign area to Ronette's bridge (with its TP graffiti) and the intersection of Sparkwood and 21.

* the bridge near the spot where Miriam is discovered by the baseball throwing boys,

Mt. Si Motel in North Bend served as both the Red Diamond City Motel in FWWM and the Dutchman's in The Return.

FYI: You can rent room 6 through AirBNB for $157 a night (link in next post). Host is listed as "Leo," but probably not *that* Leo, right???

One of our most memorable "minor" location visits was to Carl Rodd's bench at E.J. Roberts Park in North Bend. Just sitting where Harry Dean sat, looking up at those trees and around the park makes for a beautiful little experience. Savor it, if you get the chance.
