Nice to attend #UKSF24 at Liverpool. I'm sure it won't be long before attending another one in the future. Good mix of research, implementation challenges and MDT working for all matters relating to stroke.

Startling statistics from Dr Cornelius Werner about rates of dysphagia after mechanical thrombectomy - 81%, 1/3 silent aspiration, with poor results from standardised swallowing assessment. His recommendation- don’t bother, use FEES/VFS as standard after MT. #UKSF24
