Join the #UN80Initiative campaign
The #UN80Initiative has focused on trimming spending and has 1) lacked transparency, 2) provided limited opportunities for civil society engagement, 3) followed a restrictive timeline.
On 12 March 2025, the UN Secretary-General launched the #UN80Initiative that aims to reform the UN in a 🌎 plugged by conflicts, authoritarianism, climate breakdown & deepening inequality. Meanwhile, the UN is in a credibility and financial crisis.
