I painted this in 2024 when the sadness of children dying in Gaza, Ukraine, The Sudan, and other places felt unbearably heavy. That sadness hasnt waned, and an immense anger has joined it knowing that the US is openly and brazenly complicit in the murder of children for power and profit.
