#UncleSamsik is probably the best kdrama I’ve seen in the past few months. I also really enjoyed #TheTaleofLadyOk.

#WhenTheStarsGossip is the #UncleSamsik (Disney+) of Netflix. Big stars. Complex plot. Big budget. Except I LOVE WTSG, the issues about fertility, ethics, and morality. Very refreshing to me as someone who has watched more than 300-400 dramas. The plot does surprise me.

I’ll go with #UncleSamsik which had the acting prowess and production quality to be the best of the year.

Day 24: Favorite costumes of 2024 #EYDC2024

#UncleSamsik had tremendous attention to period detail that really helped highlight the time period of the drama. I mean, ok, it’s a drama featuring a lot of men in dark suits, but it’s actually really difficult to costume a drama like this well. Kudos.

Day 22: A 2024 drama that deserves the hype. #EYDC2024

I’m usually too far out of the loop to know about the hype, and I’m usually disappointed anyway.

If I have to pick a drama, my vote is for #UncleSamsik, which lived up to the pre-release hype, IMO (even if most intl fans would not agree, lol).
